The sun pleased him, until he looked out the window, and saw the mass of skyscrapers polluting the skyline with their steel grey shadows. “They’re the same colour as your eyes. SOLO - PrologueThe world turned ever slower as the clouds gathered overhead. The miasma of the city drifted upwards towards the last green refuge, high above the grime of the street. You had to pay a lot of money to be here. But for those who remembered, it was a price they were willing to pay. The tombstones were packed tightly together, but somehow there was always space for one more paying customer. That was the way of industry these days.
